Know the Illinois Rules

Sedans must stay at 35% VLT or lighter on all side windows and the rear glass. SUVs, vans, and pickups need 50% on the front sides but can run any darkness behind the driver. Illinois requires the film to be nonreflective; mirrored or metallic-reflective film isn't legal on the front or rear side windows.
